How to choose a Voice Instructor

I was doing some thinking about what might be useful to people looking for a voice coach when I remembered this amazing article in Singwise. I don't think I could write a better article on picking a vocal coach and agree with Karyn O'connor's tips on picking a vocal instructor. One of the things I agree most with is that an instructor should have both training and experience. Just because a musician is a good performer doesn't mean that they have the understanding of the physiology of the voice and healthy singing.
